One case, all the relevant details

1. Sign in with email or Google. Your public alias is separate from your login. To associate a wallet with your existing account, open Profile settings → Edit photo & account → Connect wallet. Use the providers offered there; availability depends on your wallet and browser.
2. Describe the incident: what happened, when and which facts support your concern.
3. Add the project, wallets, websites and social profiles involved. You can combine different types in the same report. Choose the relevant chain for each wallet.
4. Add supporting links or screenshots, complete the security check at the bottom, then submit.
5. Wait for the saved confirmation and open your submission history. A button click alone does not confirm receipt.

If submission fails, keep the tab open, read the error and retry after correcting it. If receipt is uncertain, check your account history first.

Make your evidence useful

Use transaction links, public posts, contract pages and screenshots that show the relevant context. Explain what each source demonstrates and what is still uncertain.

• Links can be entered without https://; Hood Watch adds it.
• Images: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB each and five per case.
• Crop or redact unrelated personal information before uploading.
• Never upload passwords, private keys, seed phrases or identity documents.

Submitted images are private during review. Evidence attached to a published report can become publicly visible. Only include material you are comfortable supporting publicly.

Your case stays in your account

Open Submission history to see the full description, associated accounts, evidence and review history. Pending, rejected and withdrawn reports are retained in the private history; rejection does not make the report disappear from your account.

If the reviewer requests more evidence, open the case and add your explanation, links and any additional images within the case limit. Earlier evidence is preserved.

You can withdraw your own report from its case details. Hood Watch removes it from review and the public index while preserving the private history and audit record.

Status emails accompany supported report updates. Delivery can be delayed; your account history is the place to check the latest recorded state.

Only approved reports appear in the public index. Publication means the report passed moderation; it is not a guarantee that every allegation is proven. Popularity is not proof.

A public contribution, a private login

Your email and reporting wallet are not included in public contributor data. Use Profile settings to manage your public alias and account settings. Your account photo is not currently part of public contributor data.

The content you submit is different from your login identity: wallet addresses, social profiles or personal details you put inside a published report may be visible. Review your text and images before sending.

Authorised reviewers can access information needed to review reports and correction requests. Withdrawing a case removes its public visibility while retaining its private review history.

Correction and removal are separate reviews.

Both routes require the report URL or ID, your connection to the case, a precise explanation and any supporting public source. No wallet connection or fee is required.

What is available today

Community reporting, evidence uploads, private submission history, moderation, public report search and removal/correction requests form the current service.

Reporting is currently free. Reward payments and paid submissions are inactive. The planned launch reward programme is not a promise of a current payout.

Automated token scanning, live onchain alerts, social-media research, AI risk profiles, contributor rankings and the commercial API are future phases. Finding no report does not establish that a token, wallet or project is safe.
